We purchase high-quality ingredients from fishing grounds around the world, and process them to meet our customers’ needs, either at our own factories in Japan and China or at our partner factories overseas. We implement an integrated management system, from processing to sales, to deliver safe and reliable high-quality products to customers throughout Japan.

In July 2020, we opened the Tokyo Sales Office, where we listen directly to customers in the Tokyo area and use the input for product development and commercialization. In addition to sales activities for customers, the office also negotiates with suppliers and conducts regular market research to quickly identify trends and share them within the company.

Snow Crab

We process snow crab at our factory in China under our supervision, and we manage and control the entire process, from production to sales. In the processing stages where advanced technology is required, we not only process crab meat, always keeping it frozen to ensure freshness and quality, but also thoroughly remove bone, shell, and foreign objects under a production management system that introduces X-ray inspection.

Deep Sea Red Crab

Deep Sea Red Crab is a rare crab caught off the coast of the South Atlantic Ocean, and features a unique, sweet flavor with a chewy texture. Compared to other varieties of crab, it has a high content of amino acids, which are a source for umami. Since its fibers do not shrink so much even when cooked, it is suitable for Chinese and Western cuisine as well as Japanese cuisine.

Shrimp for raw consumption

We offer a variety of shrimp for raw consumption, including sweet shrimp, Argentine red shrimp and botan shrimp. These shrimps are processed mostly to Head-on Tail-on central peel, Tail-on peel, and Tail-on butterfly-cut. Shrimps are processed by hand under strict controls at our own factory, and since their freshness is preserved during the process, they can be used in a variety of ways, such as sashimi and sushi ingredients.

Shimmered fish and marinated fish

We use a saturated steam cooker to make the fish tender, right down to the bones. Unlike retort ovens, that may cause uneven heating, the steam cooker preserves the appearance, texture and flavor of the fish. We deliver delicious simmered fish made with sardines, mackerel and Kesennuma’s specialty swordfish to your table.

Frozen processed foods

Each product is carefully handmade at our factory in Kesennuma. Using generous amounts of Deep Sea Red Crab, we make bisque, crab cakes, crab rice mix and pasta sauce. We are constantly developing new products to expand our product lineup.

Non-refrigerated processed products

We offer a wide range of original products, including ponzu soy sauce and confiture made with locally-produced yuzu citrus. We also handle crab miso and retort-pouch curry as crab product specialist.
